Overseas counseling for English speaking countries

This unit is responsible for helping students in their application stage to universities with English curriculum, mainly in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia. Priority is given to 12th graders during the fall and 11th graders during the spring terms.
Students should begin to spend time on extracurricular activities that interest them during 9th and 10th grades. 10th graders also need to begin thinking and researching about their future careers. 11th graders need to begin their research on universities and take an SAT or ACT in their spring term. During the 11th grade summer break, students should complete their personal essays and decrease the number of universities to a manageable number. Another test can be taken during fall of their 12th grade when their applications are due.
More information about application and research about universities, summer school and English language courses can be obtained from sgsc(at)sg.k12.tr or the telephone number +90 (212) 313 49 44.
